What a lovely, warm place to stay. Location was ideal as it is a very short walk from all the hustle and bustle - so very quiet night rest. Rooms are clean, cozy and Ajaz and his wife are so sweet. They reallyade our stay welcoming.

Wonderful hosts, super welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious, blow dryer was broken on arrival but the hosts replaced a brand new one for us immediately. They were really helpful and it was a lovely stay. Would definitely return.

Owners are lovely and welcoming at check in and throughout our stay. Room was clean and quiet (we had a view of the gardens). Great location as everything was within walking distance. Very nice stay

I can't really point something out here that was less than perfect. (TLDR: House is very beautiful with great ameneties and very nice owners) There's a doorbell embedded into the wall outside, that calls the owners to the door so they can unlock it for your - there's your first step of 24 hour security! They ask for your name, check in a book, and then walk you to your room explaining different things about the house and where your ameneties are. There is also free wifi they should give you the password when you enter. Each door locks with a key from the outside and with the doorhandle from the inside. If you need a shower, there's free body wash and shampoo and towels for you to use. The shower is really quite nice, not the highest pressure but if anything that makes it feel softer. The temperature is also very easy to control. I travelled so I could attend the university open day in Edinburgh, but when I got back I found out that not only had they gone in and cleaned the room while I was gone (making the bed all nice and putting my clothes and items back on top of it haha) but also refilled my drinks! Which was very sweet of them! The house itself is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous red carpet and very high ceilings. I only met one of the owners, but he was a dream to talk to and was very patient with me (My train was delayed by a good near hour and I completely missed the doorbell on my way in so was very upsettedly knocking obsessively on the glass door until he came to fetch me... woops...he was very chill about it though! we just started talking about the train disruptions right after) The literally only thing I can point out is that a tiny bit of the wallpaper is damaged due to other residents in the past, but it's not something you notice unless you're staring and the room and building itself is beautiful regardless. The noise level can increase sometimes when multiple people are walking around and talking (or even yelling) in their rooms, but it's surprisingly not a bother. Not a single actual thing I can nitpick here!! Really loved my time here, and if I ever need accommodation in Edinburgh I think this will be my only place.
