Okay so I read a lot of reviews before I stayed…explored other options..and formulated what I believe is an honest review. Cons: Mosquitoes in room is a thing. Even in mid November. I walked to the pharmacy and bought a plug in deterrent which worked great. Note to property invest in doing the same for all rooms. Toiletries/Amenities. Virtually non existent. This isn’t a deal breaker if you prepare ahead. Pack your normal shower toiletries and you will be fine. Hotel staff interaction is limited. I didn’t have an issue while staying but I expect if you experience an issue it would be problematic to resolve quickly. Pros: Location. Super close to train station from the airport. Walkability to everything you could want to explore. Stores for any needs near by. Value. I went back and forth on this one but for the price I paid, considering all aspects the price was a great value.

First, the Pros: 1. Valeria at the front desk was one of the friendliest, most helpful people that we met in our 19 days in Italy! She speaks excellent English, but was also patient with my Italian. She was always kind, providing tips, and helping us to resolve problems. She is really a huge asset to the hotel and a good ambassador for the country. 2. We loved the breakfasts. The setting gave us beautiful views of the city and was kept immaculately clean, had a lot of choices (without limits), played GREAT music, and had friendly staff. We especially liked the fill your own croissant option! 3. The location is walking distance (even with luggage) from the train station and downtown sites. 4. We felt secure--you can't enter the building without scanning your card and the front desk was staffed at all times. 5. The place is kept clean and polished. The Cons (and they are few): 1. The first room we were assigned really made me feel claustrophobic, and I've stayed in all kinds of small places while traveling abroad. It was clean and polished, but the size and lack of air/light/window had a very suffocating effect on me. Valeria came to the rescue and got us into another room. 2. The hairdryer has an interesting design, but was pretty useless. 3. The street is busy, so depending on your room and how light or early of a sleeper you are, that could be an issue. 4. Some basics (like just having a cup in the room) were missing. 5. Our room safe was locked on arrival, so not of any use to us. (Note: We did not ask for them to unlock it because they were busy, and we didn't want to be a hassle.)

Location perfect! Hotel is small, no special extra services available. Rooms have been recently renovated. My single room was tiny, yet functional. Room was very quiet, no sounds from the street - also no wiev to the street. Air-conditioning was a must and worked well (outside temp was +40°c at the time). Nice staff. Breakfast minimal, but makes you survive until lunch.

Room is average, location is fantastic. But I couldn’t sleep at all due to crazy mosquitoes. I killed total 7 of them over the night, still could hear the mosquito sounds… terrifying me. Also, as my booking was included with breakfast and I got a very early morning tour at the first day, I requested take away breakfast the day before. But it just came with a few briskets, no bread or sandwiches. This is very disappointing… It should have called as ‘snack’, not a breakfast….. If this is all, then I don’t understand why they even put the cutlery inside…?? There is no food inside and nothing to cut. The reception guy in the morning shift (7am) doesn’t understand English. But afternoon shift Valerina is very kind & speak good English. FYI, there is no amenities provided other than soap and all in one body wash & shampoo from the tap. You gotta prep own conditioner, foam cleaner and toothbrush/toothpaste etc. ++add on The front lady(i think she is manager) who wearing glasses and tied her hair is super rude. Already discussed and agreed for late check out with other staff the day before but once she saw my face in the morning, she straightaway asked me why i never checked out. She chased me to go off so hardly in a very bad manner.
