Charming Hotel Stay: Excellent Service and Location I had a wonderful experience at this charming hotel. Its prime location made exploring the area a breeze. The breakfast was superb, offering a delightful variety of fresh and tasty options. The staff, especially at the front desk, were exceptionally pleasant and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel bar was a cozy retreat, and bartender Max stood out with his informative and friendly service. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Hotel Berchielli is one of my top 5 all time hotel stays. Everything about this hotel was done right. It was a bit of a maze to find things at times, but that comes with old buildings. Our room was remarkable with a picturesque view of the river and a small bathroom balcony looking into the side entrance. The breakfast was marvelous and the staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is located conveniently to make all of the historical Florence landmarks walkable. Nearby, you’ll find some of the best food and drink you’ll ever enjoy. The courtyard was peaceful and offered great views and a fun atmosphere to share a bottle of wine.

Absolutely lovely. The rooms are classic, clean, beautiful, and elegant. The breakfast is phenomenal. The location is unbeatable, right by the Ponte Vecchio and a short 15 minute walk from the train station. And the staff was very accommodating, letting us keep our luggage there all day while we explored after checking out.

Been to many hotels all over the world, hands down the staff at this hotel are the rudest of all, front desk people are so rude they barely talk to you, very arrogant, location is great, room are way below average and staff treat you like nobody, never ever recommend this hotel. Update January 22nd: according to the hotel staff response to my review, we got a free upgrade to a river facing room! Not sure where your info is coming from but I am attaching the final hotel bill and the proof of paying 60 Euro a night for the so called "Free Upgrade", I am wondering how you can not even verify how much you charged for a room before falsly saying I was offered a free upgrade.

Great location. Staff were pleasant. The room however left a little to be desired. If you are booking here just make sure you don't get room 604 as the air con is noisy and when you open the window you are faced with the attached view which is shielding the hotels air conditioning units we think. So you cannot get away from the noise. We were only there for 3 nights but I would have been devastated if it had been for longer. I did request to upgrade and was told the hotel is fully booked however no effort was made to explore whether that was the case for the entirety of our stay. The bar staff were very pleasant and the breakfast options were good. Oh and despite the dodgy room the hotels in Italy appear to ensure they have good beds.
