Great location and very cheap. Saput (owner) is the best host.Hapilly will help with everything. We stay here every time we are in KTH.

I’m struggling to understand why this place is so cheap! Everything from the location, clean rooms, free breakfast was beyond imagination for the price. The owner is an incredibly sweet man who’s level of service is above and beyond anything you’d expect from a hostel! All in all, great place to stay!!

Our second stay at Avalon House and we will definitely be back again Im sure. The owner Saput is very kind and helpful should you need anything. He assisted us with organising transport for our trek and transfers to and from the airport. The rooms are spacious, clean and hot water for showers. A little oasis in the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Easy walk to the Thamel area and good restaurants.
