Let's start from the staff. The lady in the reception is very kind, helpful and polite, i could say that she's very good at welcoming the guests and making them feel at home. Rooms are spacious and very warm, big and quiet. Comfortable beds, and you can handle the heating by yourself, as you want. Perfect location to explore the city. Breakfast under payment as an extra. I was glad to see and confirmed that during my stay they started some renovations in some of the rooms, about equipment, etc. I was happily surprised overall and will be back again when visiting Vienna.

If you are looking for a classic design room in a family run boutique hotel right on the edge of the central zone walking district then this is for you. The room & beds were pretty & comfortable. Despite our room being right across from the breakfast room, it was quiet. A little noise from the street but it died down early & windows closed were OK. Breakfast in the morning was in a sunny room with a balcony as well. There was the usual full Europe spread with scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage. The hotel is the 2 upper floors so the entrance is barely noticeable locked door with a buzzer next to a champagne bar - the front does have a Aviano Hotel sign. Inside there are 5 steps up & then a lift the rest of the way. If coming by taxi best to say the Ambassador Hotel & you'll be let out a very short 75 steps from this hotel's door. Being just in the walking zone, if you just say Aviano you might get let off several blocks on the other side of the zone instead. This is a friendly place in a great location run by nice people. I would gladly stay here again - in fact I did when I came back through a few weeks later.

In the middle of the city, every important place is around 15 minutes by walking. Kind service, authentic rooms. Sissi Suite strongly recommended!

This little hotel has the wonderful combination of convenience, comfort, decent price, beautiful rooms, friendly service and great location. It is located in the pedestrian zone so to arrive by taxi they can drop you off very near to the entrance (by the Imperial Crypt). On the first arrival is necessary to ring the doorbell (labeled with the hotel name) to be buzzed into the apartment building door. The wifi was strong and the beds were the typical hard but comfortable Austrian style king sized with fluffy 2 twin duvet blankets (no need to complain about who is the blanket hog! 😆). We asked for an extra top sheet because we get hot under the duvet. Each room has a empty mini fridge. The only suggestion we wished for were more extension plugs near the bed side to charge our devices. We loved the 1960’s version of Hapsburg Royal style furniture and how clean everything was. We stayed twice here, first in a standard room and then we tried a lovely suite. Both were large rooms, the suite had a little dining area and sitting lounge. The bathrooms in both rooms were the same size. We will definitely return!
