Based on location and the price, one of the best hotel to stay during your trip to Nepal and if you are staying in Kathmandu. The hotel is located in the center. Quiet location and super friendly staff. Here are my ratings: Price - service satisfaction: 10/10 Guest receiving and hospitality: 10/10 Room: 9/10 Location:10/10 The only thing I wish would have been here is a bit more of room amenities. But beside this, I loved the hotel. Bed is extremely comfy. I would recommend this hotel for sure.

What a place to stay.Rooms were specious, clean and had a wonderful view from rooftop. Friendly staff they manage to booked a ticket and everything for us. Specially a guy who is in the counter was mind blowing Highly recommended.

Backyard Hotel is nestled in Thamel, within walking distance from Kathmandu Durbar Square and a 5-minute walk from Garden of Dreams. It features a rooftop garden, free Wi-Fi in public areas and elegant rooms with wooden flooring. It is a 25-minute drive from Tribhuvan International Airport to the hotel. Rooms are simply furnished and equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning and a safety deposit box. They have large bathrooms with a shower and 24-hour hot and cold water. Free locals calls and bottled water are provided. Guests can enjoy Western and Asian dishes at the restaurant. Nepalese dishes also feature on the menu. Room service is available.

I have been to Nepal twice now. In first trip I went with family and booked backyard hotel as it’s in the heart of bustling thamel. I was bit worried at the starting but once I started talking to Rajendra jee, all my worries went away . I promised him if I come again to Nepal I will stay only at this hotel. Nice comfy rooms, extraordinary helpful staffs and excellent host like Rajendra jee who will help you for everything you need. I will surely recommend this hotel if you are planning your Kathmandu trip .
