The location was amazing, the rooms clean and spacious, but the best thing about my stay here were all the employees. They were honestly the kindest, welcoming and lovely people! Always happy to help and have a conversation. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

I have been stayed in this lovely hotel a month ago almost for five weeks and I had a good experience. The waiter & waitress were very friendly Abreham, Yordanos & the new hired lady Supervisor were amazing. Every morning when we came to have our Breakfast their smile & the way of treating us was very professional, all in all house maids with their supervisor, Security guards, front desk team treated us like a royal family.last not but list the IT guy if I’m not mistaken ( Tibebe ) who left your hotel and giving a support for you was very helpful. I will recommend base Ethiopia for family and friends.hope we will see you soon. till then Stay safe and Blessed. Thank you all.

Nice and clean hotel. Price isn't too expensive and the food is pretty decent but could be in small portions if you eat alot

I stayed here on a free stopover with Ethiopian Airlines but my stay was so bad that if I get put here again, I will book my own accomodations instead. Pros: - Location: hotel is close to the airport. It also appeared that there were restaurants and bars within easy walking distance but my stopover was too short to experience them. - The room was large. - Check-in was extremely quick because the receptionist takes everyone's passports and scans them later. I was anxious about leaving my passport but got it back after dinner. - The porter offered to "get me a pretty girl" if I wanted. I am not interested in that service but I am sure some people would be. - Good hot water - The lobby looks very nice Cons: - I was called 15 minutes before the shuttle's scheduled departure time and told it was leaving immediately and that everyone was waiting for me and had all asked to leave early. When I got to the shuttle, there were only 3 people there, 2 of whom were anxiously texting and calling their friends to come out, so I am confident that they did not ask to leave early. The friends ended up making it but several other people were left behind. - The power was out for about 45 minutes when we were all waiting for dinner and to go to sleep, when we already didn't have very much time at the hotel. Not clear why it took them so long to turn the generator on. - The bed was, without exaggeration, the hardest I've ever experienced. - The room was in terrible shape, parts of the bathroom were falling apart and the bathroom door had no knob, just a hole where a knob would be. - Food: there were a half-dozen dinner options, none of which included injera. I had some chicken and rice (I think? It was quite forgettable) that was much too salty. Alas since my shuttle left early I can't review the breakfast. - The room was very hot when I arrived and had no AC or screens on the windows, so I had to let in bugs to cool the room off. - When I was picked up at the airport there was no communication about how long we were waiting so everyone just sat in the dark and silence for a very long time while we waited for the other passengers to arrive.
