The Zig Zag Hotel has been my residence for almost a month, and unfortunately, my customer service experience has consistently fallen short of expectations. Despite expressing my concerns to the management, there have been no improvements – in fact, the service seems to be getting worse. Ordering in person often results in a 45-minute wait, or the order may not arrive at all without repeated calls. Attempts to contact them are met with a busy signal, and ordering breakfast requires a one-hour advance notice, sometimes resulting in unsatisfactory meals. The restaurant even suggested obtaining tea bags from housekeeping. The lack of utensils with delivered food, such as missing spoons and forks, or being given a tea spoon and saucer as a plate, adds to the overall dissatisfaction. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel, especially considering its apparent emptiness. The washroom and shower present additional issues, with unpleasant smells and interrupted water flow. Unfortunately, my stay, chosen for convenience with local friends and family, has become a daily struggle. Despite being long-stay customers, occasional disruptions occur when a group of intoxicated individuals rents the penthouse next to me, leading to sleepless nights due to noise and music.

I travel to Ethiopia frequently and I’ve been stayed in a different hotels every time. On the end of January 2022 one of my family member (Fikir A) who’s used to be work at Zig Zag Hotel and Spa recommended me and I really loved it. The most greatest Hotel that I ever seen. I just loved Zig Zag Hotel and Spa, specifically their customer service. one thing you will be disappointed in while you visit any place in Ethiopia is customer service but this place is extraordinary, I don't know how they make it happen but every part of the hotel they are amazing. The security guard’s were friendly and and helpful, the reception staff were friendly and efficient, the housekeepers are talented cleaning and decorating rooms. My room was spacious and comfortable. I’ve used there breakfast and dinner, there food is the best. I just loved it and it’s my new favorite Hotel in Addis Ababa Ethio. I really enjoyed. Thank you Zig Zag Hotel and Spa for excellent service! Keep up your good work and be example for others…….

The hotel is clean and the service is good but our last night there wich was Sunday we couldn’t sleep because there was a loud music from 8pm to 8Am morning wich made sleep not possible and the staff didn’t anything about it and they disregarded there are people who are in the hotel that are sick that can’t handle loud music all night long . So beware of staying on Sunday night there , other than that the hotel was decent.
