Stayed in a two-person room, it had a shower, but it barely worked, it looked like most of the water wasn't going out of the shower head but was leaking out at the tap and I hope you like being naked in front of other people in the room because there's no other way to shower without getting all your clothes wet, the only toilet was outside my room, fortunately on the same floor, but it had NO sink and it stank. We weren't able to stay asleep, there were loud noises outside our room, and we heard conversations that other people had. There were no towels, soap, or even bedsheets. Plain pillow and bare duvet is all you get. The room, as it had a shower, was also extremely moist, to the point of having water condense all over window pane - no wonder other opinions report mold! It also had a radiator, but it wobbled horribly and was cold to the touch. The door to the room technically had a lock, but it didn't work properly - when pressing down on the handle it was automatically unlocked. Breakfast was included, but all it had was some bread, apricot confiture that was mostly glucose-fructose syrup, a tiny amount of butter, orange juice box and some coffee from a coffee machine(I have NO idea when it was last cleaned). I didn't try out bread or coffee out of fear of food poisoning. For some reason we were asked to leave our room for 4 hours, and our belongings were not safe during that time. There was only one electrical outlet in the whole room, it was at the desk, and I'm not sure it even worked.

The good thing first: The location is really convenient. But apart from this the experience was strange and overall not good. We had to pay about 20 euros extra upon arrival (two times the price for city tax) and it was not understandable at all why they charge like this. Felt like a scam, since we booked two other accommodations in Paris before where we just simple payed the online price and all taxes were included. That's how it should be. Additionally, the rooms could be cleaner and it would be nice to get bed linen as it is standard in other hostels. Why everybody has to leave rooms from 11am to 3 pm is also not understandable (cleaning can't be the reason ;) ). So if you want to enjoy your time in Paris, don't ever book this hostel.

Nice hostel! Overall, we had a good stay there. Nice and lively neighborhood, not far from public transports. Fair and competitive price with regards to the offer. We had an unfortunate experience with the elevator, that was swiftly handled by the staff.

The hotel is near the metro station which for me was very helpful and there are plenty of nice caffès around the place . Very Friendly and helpful staff. I had one issue with the room we got : it smelled very bad , and I had to open the window to let some fresh air get in, the next day and after the cleaners changed the bedsheets, I smelled a perfume on the pillow and it wasn’t my perfume , I addressed the issue , however the smell of that perfume on the pillow remained but not as strong as it was previously.

Bed bugs!!! Its cheap, its well located so I didn't expect much. The blankets were a little smelly. BUT, on my 3rd day I got up earlier, and found 5 bed bugs in all stages. I told the clerk, he duly noted it on a sheet of paper, where my room was 2nd in the list at 8 AM. So I guess, they know, and make statistics. I am rather worried, getting MY home infected, as eliminating them is really costly. So better avoid for some time...
