We were traveling from Florida to NC and were looking for an inexpensive place to stay the night. I suppose we got what we paid for. The room *looked* clean, but as we were settling in, roaches began come out of hiding. The phones in the room didn't work so we couldn't call the front desk when the microwave shorted out on us. My daughter went to speak to the front desk and they said to just unplug it and plug it back in...I went to soak in the tub and there was no hot water...we only had to stay for one night, but it was very disappointing.

What a dump. Had roaches. A used toothpick in our bed. Smell terrible. The pool looked clean. People fixing cars in the parking lot. Old old old. Hotel next door is way better.

My dad was at the hospital in medical ICU and it was close looked great online. BUT DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURE!!!! Staff were sweet but the place is a dump!!! In very much need of repairs. Our shower curtain hung from the wall. So the curtain wouldn't stay shut and kept coming to the middle so water went everywhere. Open a drawer it will fall apart on you. Don't drop anything on the floor in the bathroom. You might notice blood all over the rim as you retrieve your item! I do have pictures to back my words and we stayed at the hospital and ate there.

While this is a great location to have a hotel in the Savannah area, it really is quite an unpleasant hotel. It's dirty and dated. You'll have a loud humidifier in your room, the door inside and out may be stained, things inside the room may be dusty, trash may be left under your chair, the showerhead may have a broken piece out of it, you may have a room that smells like bug spray (I ultimately realized it might have been a major use of pledge), breakfast is quite bland (I seriously believe they water down the juices), etc. I think I expected a lot more out of Baymont and was deeply disappointed.
