Bayview Hotel

Ahead of our arrival, we specifically asked for AC and fans. Upon our arrival, the AC and the safe weren't working and we had to ask for fans which still didn't compeletely work. The staff claimed that the AC would be fixed the next day but two days passed and it never happened. We were finally switched to another room (after having asked for days since our arrival), only to find that night after touring all day that the second room had no hot water in the bathroom. The key also didn't work. After we complained about this to the front desk and asked to be changed to another room (third room), we never received any kind of apology or any offer of a refund or discount. On the contrary, Romulo, the manager, asked to speak to us on the phone where he reprimanded us for being "rude". All three of the rooms we stayed in during our ten day stay had filthy floors and carpets. There are "No smoking" signs but there were a couple of older guests who smoked and left ashtrays out in public spaces throughout all hours of the day, bringing in younger "guests" late at night. My mother has stayed here several times over the past five years and has noticed a consistent decline in service. The location is very close to where our family loves so this would be perfect but we will never stay here again. The staff were incredibly unprofessional and take no pride in this establishment, which seems to have become a party space for only a handful of guests.
