The staff is super friendly, and he upgraded my room to a much bigger one than the one I had first reserved. The hotel is a walk up the building, so if you have more oversized luggage, good luck! Finding this hotel initially was confusing, and this one in particular (like most hotels around the area) is an old apartment converted into a hotel. The address is complicated, but you can find it again once you find it. Everything about Florence is convenient, and you can walk everywhere. Public transportation is also available (which I did not have to use at all). I loved my stay here and highly recommend this place to my friends who are considering going to Florence, Italy, soon. If you want to stay in Florence, this is a central location close to all the fun stuff and transportation.

Great place to stay when you are in Florence! The owner Mr. Luciano is very nice and helpful, he gave me a lot of amazing tips and is very hospitable! The building is old but very well maintained, has a distinct taste of history and cozy atmosphere. The location is superb, 5 minutes from the station S.M.N. and 10 from the city center, and right across the entrance there’s the oldest pharmacy in the world, definitely a must see! There’s a water kettle and coffee in the room and a mini fridge, AC and heating and hot water and a small lift….didn’t need to ask for more! Highly recommended😊

The owner was both incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Very willing to help and give advice. The location is perfect being in walking distance from the train station and surrounded by great places to eat. The view good, the room was nice.

Stayed for 3 nights at Bellevue house at the start of May and it was a pleasant experience. The owner was very generous with information about Florence and made sure everyone felt welcomed. Do keep in mind, it's a historical 500-year old building so the elevator capacity and speed is limited. Although not everything works at 100% due to the aging building, I felt that the owner did everything he could to make us feel at home. The location of the hotel is convenient too! Walking distance from the train station and other popular landmarks.
