Bellissimo Resort

We had previously been to Mykonos on a Med cruise and had always promised ourselves we’d have a holiday there one day. Last July we decided to book for Mykonos at the back end of September 2022. There were lots of accommodation options in our price range but ultimately we narrowed it down to two or three but in the end went for the Bellissimo Resort. It’s about a 15 minute drive from the airport so we was at the resort in good time to check in. It’s a family run resort, check in was very welcoming and quick to complete. There are 8 rooms on the lower floor and 8 above that have balcony’s. The rooms in the ground floor all have some outdoor space allocated and all are right near the pool. Rooms are spacious, unique and of a really good size. Ours also had a fridge and coffee/tea area that had a Nespresso machine with complimentary pods. Bathroom was funky and everything you need. Bed was comfortable and spacious, cupboard space ample. The pool has plenty of beds which means with only 16 rooms you’ll always get one plus it has some large double beds to chill out on. Once we had sorted ourselves out we were straight in the pool which we pretty much had to our own as no one else was about, it was just awesome. The pool Is a salt pool, not massive but completely adequate for what you need. At the back of the sun beds is the completely lovely restaurant and bar and at the other end you can step out onto the road and there is a convenience store and bust stop which takes you into town and runs about every 30 mins at a cost of €1.80 for one journey. The hotel bar and restaurant does great drinks and the food we found to be of a high standard and was very popular in the evenings, it’s great having such a great place less than 20 minutes from the door of our room. The hospitality shown to us by the resort staff was so welcoming with a special mention to Irene who was brilliant and makes a very very good frozen strawberry daiquiri ❤️. Given how fantastic we think this place is we are delighted to be going back again, in two days time !!! Bellissimo Resort 2024, we can’t wait.

Bellisimo review My friend and I chose the wonderful Bellisimo resort in Mykonos for two nights, where I must first of all highlight the amazing work of the staff and also the hotelier Mike, thank you for everything! The fact that there is a restaurant right next door, very friendly prices, and breakfast is also available at that place will definitely make your stay much easier. The breakfast works in such a way that the attendant gives you a piece of paper where you mark what you want for breakfast. A truly luxurious approach. Another big advantage is the sea - only a 5-minute walk and you are on a beautiful beach, everything is a short distance away. I recommend this place to everyone, I give it a 10/10 rating and I hope it's not the last time I visit this place. Thank you once again, it was an honor to visit you in Mykonos.
