We were double charged for our room on check in because they could not find the payment in their system, even when presented with a receipt and the bank transaction from Southwest. I do understand if payment did not arrive on their side, but felt ignored that they were unwilling to help us resolve the issue and now we have to figure out what to do with the double charge. On arrival you are supposed to “pick up the red phone” to get their attention, but this did not immediately seem to work. After 3 unsuccessful tries we had to call the number on google maps instead and were told “why didn’t you just pick up the red phone?” when the attendant arrived. On the positive side the room was fine! Beds clean and well cared for on arrival. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but available and included. The eggs were inedible. Plenty of alternative options though.

I strongly recommend you NOT to book here. Breakfast: really bad, limited options, low supply Cleaning: not at all! We were there from a Thursday to Monday. The room was not cleaned at all. They did not even clean the garbage cans. I was told cleaning occurs every 3 days....not true! Service: poor...called to get clean towels...nobody could take them to the room. Had to go downstairs to get them. I would not stay here ever. We came for a soccer tournament and they assigned us this hotel. I have also suggested the organization not to suggest this hotel again. Location: if you walk 2 blocks you are in a shopping center. Rooms: good size, shower very rudimentary. Bathroom was ok.

6 stars. Even before check in, I spoke to numerous people at the front desk and everyone was pleasant/ remembered me by name. When I arrived, I spoke to Akaash regarding our rooms and things to do around Phoenix. He was nothing but generous, personable and extremely helpful. (We ended up going to half of the places, including Cham pang lanes, thanks!!) Our rooms were excellent- spacious and even smelt citrusy clean. Breakfast in the morning was great- lots of options and opened early enough for us to get before our adventures. There was a beautiful lounge area for the fire pit and the gym was nice & clean, with lots to do. Location was right next to 2 huge shopping centers which was a plus. The day after we checked out, my mom noticed she forgot her charger. I called the front desk again and asked if there was a lost and found. Ariel was so helpful and called me right back to tell me she found the charger. Overall, 10/10 experience and would definitely return. Thank you for the hospitality!

The room was not ready upon 5 pm arrival. Staff acted like we were very lucky they were doing their jobs. It could take upwards of 20 minutes to get someone's attention at the desk in the middle of the day. Items in the little store next to the main desk were expired by months and when we asked to exchange flat expired soda, we were given excuses (we just got this soda yesterday! No... no you did not. ) and told they don't usually exchange food items but they'd do it for us. When I tried to get coins for laundry I was told that I could only get a ten dollar roll of quarters. When I explained I brought 3 dollars from the room, I was given sighs and eye rolls and "FINE. I don't normally do this but I GUESS I can give you three dollars worth of quarters. A load of laundry costs $9 here by the way. 3 for wash, 3 for soap, 3 to dry. We asked for more blankets (family of 4 with 2 kids) and were told there wad only one blanket left in the entire hotel and we couldn't have any more. We slept in our pants and long sleeve shirts. The only thing I enjoyed about this hotel was the pool that was heated. The hot tub left a substantial white grainy film of chemicals on you. The lights in the gazebo were broken the first night. They fixed those. But then the lights in the pool were broken the next night. The gym was small but the treadmill was broken. I would not stay here again. For the amount we paid, service should have at least been good.

Efficient, helpful, friendly staff; simple buffer breakfast included. Staff scrupulously keeps the serving area clean, especially if someone sneezes or coughs. Coffee/hot chocolate machine in the nice lobby runs 24/7. Easy access to I-17. Next to commercial area with lots of restaurants and shops. Just 25 miles (north) from downtown Phoenix and the airport.
