The front desk staff is polite and courteous. The location is good if you need to be in the north Phoenix area and have a vehicle that is in good working condition. There is a supercenter store about a ten minute walk from the hotel, but across a fairly busy road, a decent pizza place, a fast food place, a bank, but little else within easy walking distance. We have stayed several times, most recently, a couple years ago. I am disappointed that my review has disappeared, so I am leaving one again. We have pictures, so at some point, we will post those as well. The size of this hotel, and its rooms, off Whispering Winds Drive, is good. There is the option to get a Queen suite, with the kitchen with a full sized refrigerator and a dining table in a separate space within the suite. If you are travelling, staying, as a family, it can be nice to have that door to separate from the kids while trying to sleep. The bathroom is in between the living area and the main bedroom, so that is also a nice bonus. However, the cleanliness of hotels in recent years, and especially this location, leaves a lot to be desired. My wife spotted a thick coating of dust on the a/c vents, and the floors, even the tiles were dirty. She spent 45 minutes cleaning what should have be done thoroughly by the housekeeping personnel. Breakfast is decent and standard fare - waffles, eggs, cereal options, yogurt and the like. Do NOT recommend if they still have the same cleaning standards.

This is a tale of two rooms. The first room, a studio was nice enough but had one huge problem. While in the bed, the HVAC emitted a very low frequency rumble that was felt almost more than heard. It put pressure on our ears that wasn't very pleasant. The audible noise was also loud enough to keep you up at night. The HVAC is right beside the foot of the bed. I rarely complain, but we had 4 nights booked and I was sure it was going to be miserable. So I asked to move to another room. They upgraded us to a one bedroom suite (nice!) that has a bedroom with a door to isolate you from the living area, the bathroom and the kitchen. This HVAC had the same issue, but with the door closed and the HVAC outside of the bedroom, it was quiet. However, standing at the bathroom sink the same low frequency rumble could be heard and felt. Not an issue as long as you don't try to sleep in the bathroom! The staff was excellent, so was the breakfast. I used the pool, which was very nice as well. The plaza nearby has plenty of restaurants to choose from. We tried to sit outside a couple of times and were eaten alive by ants. Overall, we'd stay there again if we are in a room without a noisy HVAC.

Very clean hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and always stocked with variety. This location is PERFECT. Close to a major shopping area and convenient to travel Phoenix. The front desk staff were so helpful! Always kind and accommodating. I sadly forgot my kindle in our hotel room and didn’t notice until we were boarding our flight home. They were able to find it and mail it to me. That level of hospitality makes all the difference in the world.
