*WARNING, - TL:DR stole from room and very gross, trust the other reviews* same price as neighboring hotels so i booked. last few reviews seemed fine. When i got there I read the other reviews. Things being stolen from room, being gross, bed bugs. I worried. Place smelled awful, heavily scent coverage. I had no other options so i stayed. The linens were clean, but yes the room was nasty. Stains, pills, hair, crumbs nothing cleaned except for bed (thank god) and the main drawer top. I did check every inch and did not see signs of bed bugs. Worst of all, house keeping stole from my room. I left around 1040 (checkout at 11) and i went down the elevator. I handed my key and said oh wait, i forgot my coat upstairs. I went back upstairs (only gone 3 minutes? [time to take elevator and turn around] ) and my coat was gone. They insisted it could not be house keeping because if the room wasn't cleaned then they did not go in there. Based on the reviews, i asked them to check with them. Reluctantly they did. I overheard the phone call saying "dont worry it'll be okay" and then 10 minutes later he came out with my coat. I'm glad they at least gave it back when called out. They wasted no time going in there. Never ever would i stay again. For that sort of speed it's systematic and I imagine it happens often.

I chose this hotel for the price, but it ended up costing more. Because they don't have parking, it cost me an additional $160 for parking. Then I got to bottles of water, and they changed me $8. I tried for 2 days to get my room turned down for clean towels and sheets. Finally the cleaning lady came and took the dirty towels... did clean anything! Never gave me a clean towel . My room was untouched, with the exception of the dirty towel. I had to go down to the front desk and request towels. Yesterday we I finally saw a manager in the hall to ask about when my room would be clean he chastise me about how busy the cleaning lady was. I didn't get his name, but he had a very strong accent. I will never stay there again.

I was concerned about staying in this hotel after reading many negative reviews about it, however, after staying here I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is very convenient to walk to many of the attractions in Philadelphia, and convenient to public transportation. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere. The room was clean and comfortable. We had no problems with our room. It was nice and dark and made sleeping a breeze. The breakfast was nicely done. There were several hot options, along with multiple cold options. The dining area was clean and well-lit. The attendant checked the food multiple times while we were eating. Parking is a couple blocks away in a lot that you pay for when you park your car. The lot is easy to walk to, and we had no issues finding a spot to park. You have to remember in an area like this, you should be prepared to pay for parking and may have to walk a bit from your hotel.
