Binh An Village Dalat

Stayed here for 1 night for a wedding photoshoot. Honestly super disappointed given the fact that this is supposed to be a 4 star resort, and the suite price is not cheap for Da Lat. ------ What went well: - Front desk staff were nice, and were willing to accommodate you with a quick phone call. There was also a dedicated butler to support you during your stay. - Beautiful scenery for photoshoots, and great view of Tuyen Lam lake. - Room was spacious for 2 people with lots of suitcases. ------ What went horribly wrong: - The room was super humid, and the AC did not work because it's a central AC shared across rooms in a building. Because of the humidity, EVERYTHING in the room (i.e. bed, pillows, sofa, towels, vv) felt damp. - Floor was super dusty upon check-in when we were walking around bare feet. Room slippers were also dirty??? - Hot water in the shower lasted for 5 minutes. - The bedroom doors were made of glass - an extremely unsafe setup and also an obstruction to privacy. - Lights were super dim, so we had to keep the door curtains wide open. - During my stay, the Housekeeping ladies used a large empty guest room to themselves next to mine to sit and relax during the day?? Not sure why there is no staff room for them to rest and relax, but this was a big burden to us as we wanted some air and lighting in the room but they kept on walking back and forth, and looked straight into our room. ------ I really loved the scenery of Binh An for our shoot, but to be honest the resort management really needs to step up its game and address these issues if they want more guests to come and stay at Binh An. Aside from its scenery, Binh An is worth maybe 2 stars maximum.

Nice location by the Tuyen Lam lake, great view of the lake (not from the room), Rooms with glass door facing the corridor so you will have to close the curtain all the time or people to passing by will be able see through the room. Rooms were spacious but no bath tub, funitures are pretty old. Front desks staffs are ok but other staffs need retraining, we walked pass by a few of them in very close distance but no one show any sign of greeting. Location by the lake is nice but it is far away from everything else, hotel has shuttle bus to/from downtown 3 times a day, booking taxi would take about 1hr to be sure.
