Sadly the air dryer wasn't working. Small room but with anything necessary for a weekend trip. Staff was very gentle and accommodating to switch us to an already cleaned room since ours wasn't ready yet. Rooms aren't nicely finished but they are renovating. Breakfast is kinda basic but has both sweet and salty tastes. They also changed the toaster in an hours.

The hotel is great. Comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. It can be perfected though : cleanliness must be the point to focus on. Apart from that, it is very well located, Notting hill gate tube is just a 5min walk away, Portobello Road Market as well. There is a luggage room, a beautiful lobby, a little garden where you can sometimes see squirrels. The staff is nice, they might be pretty flexible on the check in/out hours.

Wasn't impressed with our room at all. The shower had only hot or only cold water, so we had to use the bath. Television, also, didn't work. The furniture was in a bad state. Although the location is great, we won't be visiting this place again.

The hairdryer of the room is totally broke, when we told the receptionist this problem, he seems like this is not his business and only responses “so what “. At the end of the night we still got a broken hairdryer. The man receptionist definitely needs to be trained again. If I can give -1 star I will give it to the man receptionist. The worst I’ve ever seen!!!

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights in June 2023. I was very underwhelmed for the price. Our room had a double, a twin, and a pullout. The pullout was very old and sagged in the middle and creaked horribly with any movement. The rooms were very hot with little air flow. In addition to the room being hot, there was a heater in the bathroom that was unable to be turned off. The fridge in the room heated up the counter above it so much that I unplugged it fearing for our safety. The staff member said both the heat in the bathroom and the fridge were normal. The walls were thin and other people could be heard throughout the building all night. The was friendly and a complementary breakfast was provided. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and feel that it really shouldn't even be described as a hotel.
