Staff was friendly and helpful, the grounds were very nice, the pool and cabana were cool, you don't have to walk far for food and a drink. BE WARNED: there are multiple roosters in the area and they literally scream ALL NIGHT starting at about 2:30am. There's nobody controlling them and the rooms are practically made of paper. I had to get up at 3:45am to hunt one down that was in a tree, parallel with the 3rd floor and on front of our room. I had to get him down and chase him off. We were also placed next to the elevator, so we were woken up every time someone used the elevator. The staff member in the room next to us was late for work, so the other staff chose to bang on the door for about 20 minutes at 6am on a Sunday, waking everyone up in the area. Thankfully, we moved rooms, and we bought ear plugs. Even on the 4th floor with ear plugs, we could still hear the roosters ALL NIGHT. Either stay in a room on the ocean side, or find a different hotel if you like to sleep for more than 3-4 hours. Unless they get the rooster problem under control so the guests can sleep, we won't be returning to this hotel.

We stayed there the week before Christmas for 3 nights. Rooms were nice mini fridge was handy as my husband is diabetic and the water bottles were a nice touch. Handy that there’s a Starbucks and we had a great time on Rum Row with some excellent food and drinks. Shuttle service was good, you had to make a reservation at the desk, but it was one of the first stops for the shuttle. They do overfill the shuttle but they send another one out if they do. Overall would come back for another visit!

Love this hotel! Been coming here for about 15 years. The hotel faces the ocean, so it blocks the breeze from the ocean when it’s colder (we normally come down in winter) and makes for a nice pool day even if it’s colder. Rum Row is great! I love that you can go to the four hotels in a row and have a different vibe at each one. Jose and Joel from the front desk were great with Check in. The room was everything I expected. Mini fridge and microwave are great. Millie at the bar is a ray of sunshine and I enjoyed mahi tacos at Toasted Coconut.

The hotel is really nice. I honestly do not understand these horrible reviews. The beds are clean and comfortable. The pillows were really comfy in our room. We stayed on the top floor, facing the ocean. Gorgeous. When we checked in, Tim was really nice, friendly and knowledgeable. It’s wonderful to be greeted and helped by someone nice after a long journey. The property is really nice. This hotel and the gates are like the same big property- and there’s a gorgeous grassy seating area inbetween that is really inviting. The pool is lovely, and the food at the pool is fantastic! Having breakfast at the pool is a great way to start the day! The location is a little far… but they have a shuttle that takes you downtown so it’s not a big deal at all it’s really cool! Everyone is really nice and I love the laid back cheery atmosphere of the Florida keys. I’d love to come back!

We spent a couple of nights at the 24 North Hotel in Key West. Was an ok hotel, nothing spectacular. First, we arrived a few minutes early, and they would not allow us to check in yet. So we waited the 5 minutes and went to check in. Funny how when you try to check in a couple of minutes early, they have kind of an attitude like we were somehow asking for the unthinkable. And yet, somehow, we are supposed to accept when the room isn't ready at check-in. So we finally got checked in, a few minutes late, not really a big deal, shame they made such a big deal out of us trying to check in 5 minutes early. We went to our room, and the AC doesn't work. Called the desk, and they sent someone up to fix it. That actually didn't take too long, so everything was good to go. Our room was simple and fairly comfortable. The pool was nice, and the towels seemed to be in short supply. We did enjoy the pool. Lots of parking, nice area to play Frisbee, wild chickens everywhere was fun. Ultimately, it is a decent place to stay. Nothing special about it.
