+ The location is great. You can easily reach Taksim and Galata. The bridge to the Old town and ferry station are within walking distance. The staff are superb. They provided all the info, let me keep my bags before and after my stay. Their English is super good as well. I booked a Standard room, but it was unavailable, so I was upgraded to a family room! It was clean, had everything I needed. Importantly for me, the room had plenty of natural light coming in. I loved the decor on the walls and pillow, even though it might look a bit tacky in the photos. I would like to say thanks for a comfortable blanket(had a bad experience in a similar level hotel) and the amount and size of the towels. I would give 10/10 just for them. Check in and check out timings were same as stated. - Deep at night I wanted to make some tea with the kettle provided, but it wasn't working. I didn't contact the reception since it wasn't super important. Would be a plus to add a few cups and teabags in the room.

The location is perfect, the receptionists (specially Asad and Yasin) are super friendly and the rooms were so clean.

Unfortunately, it is a DUMP. For €50 per night we were not expecting luxury (be were moved to this place from Galata Tower Apartments, for some technical reasons), and yes we were given the top floor, which has a view of the Golden Horn, BUT the furniture was old and dirty (look at the photos of the armchair cover and the table cloth stains), the shower was not working, everything was dated and we had a feeling that we ended up in a hotel rented by the hour. On top of everything, after we decided to check out the next morning (the only reason we even stayed, was the delay of our flight, so we arrived late at night and the awful weather outside) we were cheated by refusing to give us money for the other two nights back. We have paid upfront for three nights.

My flight was delayed by 3 hours, of which was no fault of my own nor the hotel staff in all fairness. However, upon arrival to the hotel, I was told that the two rooms I had booked for myself and my family in advance and have paid for, were given to other customers. We were then shoved in one room instead of the two we had booked, and after having requested another room, were given one on the opposite side of the hotel, defeating the whole purpose of a family holiday. Very disappointed in the response to this situation.
