We rent a room for four days and left a Rome with good memories especially because of host We got keys by ourselves and entered in the prepared room without any issues. Salvatore helped us to orient in the city, was positive and polite Yeah, an apartment not so big, but when you are in Rome you spend the most of time outside. I think if you prefer to leave home in the morning and come back in the evening this is one of the best choices

The place it's very close to Vatican indeed, but not that close to the other attraction points. The room is clean and it was very quiet. We liked the neighborhood as it really gives you the feeling that you live like a local. We had an issue with the doorman as we couldn't easily find the way in. The main entrance gates were open and there was no sign of private property. Therefore we entered to search for the staircase and to ring the bell so host can open the door. But after 3 minutes of searching a very rude grass mower/ doorman was yelling at us that we are not allowed to enter the main gates even if they were wide open and everyone was entering them. He was really rude and insisting that we should be there as it's private property. He made everything very confusing and ruined our mood to be there. So just be aware of the crazy impolite doorman. I wouldn't stay there again just because of him.
