I probably would have had a better time if my room wasn't next to the elevator. It was loud, you could hear every conversation, and I wasn't happy. You could see paint touch-ups, it was dusty, and asking guests to pay for wifi is crazy. There was only one person at the front desk that was welcoming, and the rest were annoying. I liked the space, and I guess I wasn't there when it was at its prime. The only saving grace was the location. I'll have to do more research next time I'm here to avoid places like this.

Great location and decent rooms. But my low review is based on the incredibly rude experience we had from a staff member. Being out of town (and out of country) we were uninformed about bringing in our own alcoholic drinks. Usually is NOT an issue and even the Internet will tell you. But we were loudly shouted at by a staff member, who strangely disappeared after taking our unopened bottle, yelling at us it is not allowed. We didn’t even respond and just have her take it. The issue is not the policy or the fact that we can not have our bottle back until checkout. It was the way she unashamedly treated us after spending a LOT of money to be a welcomed guest at a supposedly peaceful and friendly location. Bottom line! Don’t take your own drinks if you want to enjoy a peaceful time. Staff are yelling!

The beds were not as soft/comfortable as I would’ve hoped, but the location was unbeatable. Duck boat and trolley tours begin less than a block away and there is a cafe serving Starbucks in the lobby. If you stay here, I highly recommend checking out the outdoor patio next to the pool. Gorgeous views with an afternoon bar. Speaking of the pool, it is much smaller than the photos suggest, but still a decent size for a hotel. Goes 3ft > 5ft

Hotel is in a great location. Our stay was terrible. I will never stay at this hotel again. First, they are doing construction so don’t plan on sleeping past 8am. Second, the elevators are in need of servicing. The friction from the elevators make a terrible screeching noise every 2-3 minutes that kept us awake all night. Lastly, our credit card was stolen by our bartender. Our check was brought back to us; and we weren’t in a hurry so we didn’t promptly fill it out. By the time we did, we didn’t realize the card was not in the folder. It wasn’t until the next morning that we realized the card was missing. My spouse went to the bar to ask if anyone found one and the male bartender was incredibly rude and immediately answered they didn’t have it without asking for our name or even looking for it. We then called security and reported our concerns and we’re not taken seriously there either. We spent good money and tipped well only to be stolen from. Today, someone in Boston attempted to charge our card $400 for some groceries. I will never stay here and the Marriott should really look into the caliber of employees they have working behind the bar, especially the male working behind the bar 1/5 evening and 1/6 afternoon, as well as the Hispanic man serving the tables 1/5 evening.
