Hotel Nossek Wien gets 2 out of 5 stars from me. While the location was convenient for getting around the city quickly and easily, almost everything else about my stay was a letdown. I was initially going to rate the hotel a 6/10, but after my wife received a passive-aggressive email from management instructing me to amend my feedback on booking.com, I have lowered my rating accordingly. It was presumptuous to tell me I "could have paid less" to stay further out - I selected this hotel for its central location and expected hospitality and amenities equal to the price I paid. This attitude does not align with my experiences at other accommodations across Europe. Since they insisted I provide more details, here are the facts: There was mold visibly growing in the bathroom, the rooms were extremely cramped and difficult to maneuver in, the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, and the entire hotel felt dated and in need of maintenance and renovation. I also paid 10 euros to have clothes washed, only to have them shrunk when they were returned. The management mentioned this rate is "average" compared to other quality hotels nearby. However, I know someone staying just 200m away at another hotel for the same nightly rate, and their accommodations, amenities, and service were vastly superior. I cannot recommend Hotel Nossek Wien and suggest looking elsewhere for a comfortable stay in Vienna. The poor customer service and run-down state of the rooms do not provide good value.

Great location in the busiest street of Vienna. Rooms were clean. And best of all stuff and manager of hotel was very friendly. I recommend %100 👍

Staff is quite friendly, helpful, and considerate. DEFINITELY DO THE BREAKFAST-very plentiful with meats, cheeses, breads, jams, AND FRESHLY MADE EGGS are available for the asking. The LOCATION IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !The bed is very comfortable, and the linens are quite clean. The shower and toilet are very good with great water pressure and plentiful hot water on command. The hotel represents Vienna during the 20's and 30's and has " antiques " splattered throughout ( some in better condition than others). Overall, the " experience " is pleasant, and the owner is extremely interested in pleasing his guest's, however general maintenance is in dire need , and the owner has been alerted of this fact and promises to take rectify.

Hotel is old, the furniture is tired to worn out, the refrigerator is leaking water and has decayed the parquet floor, sink does not allow water to drain, bed is comfortable and bedding and towels are clean, shower and hot water were pleasant. This place could be a real gem because of the history of the building and the PERFECT LOCATION, but they need to invest money into bringing the standards up to the 21st century! PS the wifi was good.The service in the restaurant is very friendly and competent and the food is good.

Fantastic location right next to all the upmarket stores, if that is your thing. Easy 200m walking to Stephans Platz and metro station. Great breakfasts - small dining room though, and wonderfully no bloody buffet - all dishes cooked to order and excellent croissants! The hotel is furnished with period furniture, some of which is looking used, but that adds to the ambience. We had a "suite"- sitting room and bedroom, bathroom was large. The french windows opened to a great view. The room was very quiet - and Would go back.
