International visitors might want to avoid this hotel - not only the staffs have problems communicating in English, one of the receptionist actually looked annoyed that I can't speak Spanish. The AC / air conditioning only have on/off & fan speed button - you can't set the temperature. Quite useless. The bathtub is clogged, tried to unclog it, but it won't budge. No kettle, so no hot water for your coffee/tea No slipper/sandal, so bring your own. There's no lock on the toilet door, so always be mindful before you open the toilet door. The hotel & room looks old, but I actually like this, it feels familiar & comfy.

My family and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and boy was it bad. The hotel only had 2 elevators and one was out of service and the other one barley worked. We had to take the stairs and it was something out of a horror movie. No handrail, my dad who is almost 80 and my young son had a really hard time taking the stairs. But the worst part was that the stairs area was full of trash and dirty laundry. The hallway lightbulbs, half did not work. The fire alarm kept beeping because it needed a new battery. My dad told the front desk several times, but no one bothered to take care of it. The only great thing about this hotel was the location.

This place was located in a very good area in Cuauhtémoc and the staff were very friendly. However, my room had roaches and did not have a clothing Iron and when brought up to the staff they said they would bring one. They never did. They through away my travel sized bottles when 3 days into my trip. They turn off your A/C and it takes almost an hour to cool the room when it’s back on. Their elevator was struggling to work and took forever to arrive. Overall subpar experience, I don’t believe I can see myself coming back.

i would not stay at the Bristol hotel again. I blame the management and not the hard working staff for the issues. We arrived at 2PM and were informed they had a strict 3PM check-in. The porter placed our luggage in a secure area and we went out to enjoy the afternoon. We returned at 8PM and were assigned a room. However, we were surprised when we entered the room to find someone was already occupying the room. We tried to use the wireless internet but it only connected to the router but had no internet access. There was not internet access for our entire 4-day stay. There were two small elevators and one was broke half of the time. They had installed hair traps in the tub/shower that reduced the drain so much that you were standing in ankle high water in a two minute shower. The hair dryer was broke and they required that we sign a deposit for a hand held unit. The air conditioner fan was so loud that you couldn't sleep with it on. We had to request for our room to be cleaned after returning late in the afternoon. The cleaning staff appeared to be understaff and over worked. We would see cleaning staff early in the morning and still working when we would return from dinner. The restaurant food was good and very reasonable price. The room was very quite and the staff was very pleasant.
