We had mixed experiences with the Hollmann. As other reviewers state, the made to order breakfast is fantastic, and you get to select what you want from a menu each morning. Definitely worth the money. The shower was also nice in the room, the room was very clean, and the central location can’t be beat. Now for the downsides…we had the smallest, most basic room, and I know it’s Europe so I shouldn’t complain, but there was VERY limited space to set out bags and personal belongings. This made things hard. The room was also very warm even though we stayed in December, and the room AC didn’t work when we turned it on. We had to cool down the room at night by opening the window. Next, the majority of the plug ins didn’t work in the room - in fact, I think only the one near the sink did, which was annoying. The first day we were there, the free beer in the snack area was not working (fixed for other days). Lastly, things get very noisy as soon as people start waking up in this hotel and going to breakfast. Sleeping in is hard because you’ll hear tromping up and downstairs from the wood floors. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Absolute dream of a hotel. So many thoughtful details: the popcorn, the jam on departure, the bees that thank you for skipping cleaning. Unique room design and delicious breakfast. Attentive and lovely staff. Will come back to Vienna, just to stay there!

We stayed a Hollmann Beletage for 3 nights and were a bit disappointed. Cons: - The bed was not very comfortable, nor the pillows. - The flooring was extremely creaky/noisy when walking on it (but that might just be due to the age of the building). I noticed that the common area flooring did not make any noise. - The bathroom felt a bit dated with the tiling having permanent dirt marks in the grout. The basin also had quite a few large cracks in it. Shabby chic? - Reception is not 24 hrs, it is only open between 7:30am and 9:30pm so if you plan to arrive outside of those hours, you need to arrange with them beforehand. - Breakfast is €35 per person which we felt was quite expensive - No mini fridge inside the room, I could see there was a spot for one but there was nothing there. Pros: - Great location - Friendly staff Overall, I'd give it between a 3-3.5 star. Definitely not a 4 star.

I notify them my visit will be for honeymoon, Check in was perfect easy and quickly with full of the important information, They surprised me when I entered the room with a congratulation card and very nice sweet for my honeymoon.Also when I checked out Ms.Sara surprised me again with homemade Jam. The staff very helpful the hotel also nice and near to all important location. Deserve more than 5 star for this stay.
