This is a solid 4* stay near the Vatican. It's modern and clean and has a great location. Downsides are the very basic room (our fridge didn't work well, no TV) and the loud metal steps to get to the loft. The upside, friendly staff. Pretty quiet in the evening. It's also a very large space to have compared to other hotels in the area.

Place and view of San Pietro are amazing. The concept is very nice and rooms are quite inexpensive. Pity for the quality of furniture and maintenance of the equipment (ex : windows do not close properly) that is getting old too fast. But anyway it is a very good choice to be downtown Rome and enjoy a lovely place.

The hotel was very clean with a large double room. It is very close to St Peters and the Vatican and about a 20-25 minute walk in to the old centre. The rooms were very quiet. The staff were extremely friendly and really accommodating. They went above and beyond when we had a problem and helped us resolve it quickly. The surrounding area had some lovely restaurants, cafes and little shops. We would definitely stay here again.

+ friendly staff (they always do their best to keep clients happy) + convenient location for Vatican city + cheap breakfast (expect Sundays) - dirty hotel (especially the public areas) - not reasonable rate/ night considering the accommodation - terrible smell from the toilet in the first room that they gave us (solution from the staff: open the hot water for a while) - they gave us a superior room for FREE after several complains about the first room (the price for it was unacceptable considering the location and the hotel) - in both the rooms AC was not working well, with 32 degrees at that time (we had everyday to let reception know about the malfunction in order to make it available for us) We made a mistake to book Camplus San Pietro by just checking some photos. In general I do not recommend if you are in Rome for vacations, unless you find it in a reasonable price. As the description says is a student's dormitory..
