Overall, when coming in, I was greeted with great customer service, both check in and check out. When it came to the actual room, first impressions, very clean, has a bit of utilities there and there. Cups, spoons, forks, plates, coffee maker. There were coffee grounds but no coffee filters and no soap for dishwashing or for the dishwasher. The stove top wouldn't work on us. The clothes ironing was broken. The safe is a nice bonus. The bathroom is very nice, not a great water pressure when it comes to showering but decent. The structure of the shower curtain was terrible. It wouldn't stay closed as I showered. I was on the 17th floor, and it was very quiet. I couldn't hear the outside liveliness of NY, which was great. And in order to get in the hotel you need your key card which ads an extra security. The streets are filled with a lot of homeless people, but a very good place where you can walk anywhere at the heart of NY.

It is the only place In the world where you can turn the lights on or off or the fan on or off while showering. Ponder that for a moment. The sleeper/couch is neither a bed nor a couch but rather provides a great source of income for chiropractors. Finally baggage storage is provided by placing your bags in the lobby with your name and room number on them. Guess what info you only need to provide to pickup your bags. Just your name and room number no ID no tag or stub just oh yeah I remember you. Sure they do.. and if you believe that I' m sure you will be buying the real Rolex watches from the street vendors around the corner. Finally why the establishment decides it needed to repair the bathroom adjacent to our room after 10 pm until around 2:00 am is beyond me . The work was intermittent as was the party attempting to sleep in or on the couch/ sleeper . Very disappointed with our room and stay.

I’d say the best part of our extended stay (almost a month), were the front desk people. Marilena and Kevin were absolutely AWESOME and I enjoyed seeing them every day when I left and returned! They were so helpful with everything and always so friendly to us. I don’t usually leave reviews but I just wanted people to know how great they were/are. Also loved the free cookies and water bottles everywhere! Thank goodness the hotel staff is so wonderful though, because our cards would stop working every other day. They had to reset them numerous times to the point where they just recognized what we needed before we said anything. Can upper management please provide brand new plastic cards so that they don’t have to deal with this? Rooms were also not very clean. And Wi-Fi was difficult to connect to.
