If you can avoid staying at this place please do. My boyfriend booked us a stay for the night and we originally were given a room on the top floor which was 79 stairs and no lift! Upon entering the room we were severely dissatisfied, the bed sheets had yellow stains all over and the carpet was dirty and stained, the window was rusty and hard to open and the bathroom was in a separate room to the actual hotel room. We complained and were relocated to another room in the basement which was essentially a downgrade. The room was smaller and had a strange sewage like smell which refused to go away and made me gag. We could also hear the conversations of the rooms adjacent very loudly. Additionally, we weren’t given any pillows in this room and the receptionist made my boyfriend climb back up to the top floor to get the ones from our previous room. Staying here made me feel extremely grimy and I won’t be making that mistake again. Also we didn’t feel safe as a key was left in the room to an adjacent room (which we can only assume must’ve been another guests room). The only upside was the location was fine.

To the management team at the Caring Hotel, thank you for being accommodating of an elderly Veteran who's booking got mixed up, and after a couple of calls the management team generously accommodated my elderly friend. People care, and I can say - after having talked to them - that the Caring Hotel is caring, I'll definitely plan on staying there when I'm London and need a good hotel to stay at. Thanks again.

Booked 3 nights, stayed 1 night. Nothing sums this hotel experience. From my 1 night I experienced vulgar screaming from multiple rooms, causing me to request to change my room. However the hotel couldn’t assure me that I wouldn’t it experience it again, and they sternly refused a refund.

I had a great stay here on my first night in London. Front desk was super nice. Carrying my luggage up 4 flights of stairs was difficult, but I requested a room on the top floor, which they were able to accommodate, so it is what it is, got my workout in for the day hehe. Breakfast was affordable. Great location too, located on an adorable tree-lined street.
