Sonder Casa Luz is a perfect choice for your Barcelona stay! Most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance. The room was clean and cleaning service was provided every day. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view and was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine at night! Thankful for the luggage storage amenity - both before check-in and after check-out! The staff were really friendly and helpful - they even helped with the organization of a birthday surprise which made my day! Totally recommend!

This review was for the rooftop bar of Casa Luz During our 3 night stay there, we spent every night at this bar just to soak up the wonderful vibe. Drinks were yummy, especially the "Sensational". I'd lost count of how many we'd consumed. We were happy to enjoy a live music night. The band was fantastic. Our server Lulu always took great care of us. One down side was the lift was broken so wheelchair user wouldn't be able to experience the beautiful rooftop view. One star deducted.

Small, cozy, inviting, and wonderful hotel. From the moment we checked in, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We arrived early due to an oversees flight and they accommodated our luggage and got us in our room quickly. The room was a double bed and two bunks. Very clean and well maintained. I’m not sure how many were around us but it was quiet and relaxing in the room. The only, and I mean only, issue we had was my mom could not get into or out of the shower/tub combo. The shower/tub combo has a high raised edge and there is no grab handle. There is a towel rack only and not sure how much weight it can support. It would help with a handle or something to grasp when getting out. Otherwise the room and facility was amazing. The breakfast was perfect with an assortment of pastries and hot egg/meat items. The view was great from the restaurant. The area is also nice and clean. Many shopping and eating options around within 3-5 min walk. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Moved to another hotel across the street on the 3rd night. There are many better hotels for the same price or even cheaper. To start with I checked in on a Friday midnight, although the process was rather smooth, room was on the clean side and tastefully decorated though clearly lack of attentive maintenance. Room not carpeted so good point for the ones who hate dust but also there’re no slippers provided, so not so nice in winter. Also no complimentary water, no coffee machine only kettle, glad there are few 24h corner shops just downstairs so no need to pay €4 for water from the mini bar. Found leftover snacks and other items from the previous guest, reported to front desk and all I got was an instruction to report it through a wtsapp number… Read the reviews about the rooftop of this hotel, so went up to check it out and there was a very loud party but no one were hotel guests. We were not able to squeezed ourselves in just to take a peek to decide what to do for breakfast - mission failed. Inside the room, there’s a lovely little balcony with street view, double glazed window worked really well couldn’t hear the busy traffic at all. Room size is ample and on the spacious side if you have big suitcases that’s ideal. However, after finding previous guests’ possessions I found curtain with massive brown stain. Also an unfinished headboard right behind my pillow so ended up sleeping right next to a bunch of cables…Originally planned to stay for 3 nights, in the end we stayed for 2 and moved to another one just across the street. Conclusion- there are much better hotels with better room rates and front desk service than this so-called 4stars hotel.
