Truly a home away from home while staying in Cairo. The staff was beyond excellent and became our family. Also a great location, anything you need is within walking distance. I definitely plan on coming back while visiting Cairo. Great talks,good vibes, and lots of laughter! Thank you George and your staff for the amazing experience.

my new second home. whether you are looking for a shelter to return to after your explorations or a place to relax in the cool Egyptian evenings, this place is for you. the staff is helpful, friendly, young and well prepared to give advice and information about the city and much more. the rooms are located on the fifth and sixth floors. the elevator works well despite its somewhat rustic appearance, don't worry. There is a washing machine available to wash dirty clothes. the breakfast delicious every morning. the neighborhood below is magnificent. we made friends with everyone, you will find tobacconists, convenience stores, restaurants and bars open 24/7 with super friendly employees. I recommend you experience the city, which from this position is perfect. a stone's throw from the metro and Zamalek. the rooms are cleaned on request and the beds are very comfortable. my room had air conditioning and the view of the street was truly stupendous. the shared balcony with cushions and carpets, tables and the best view you can find in the city are probably the strong point of the hotel, together with the friendliness of all the staff. if you are looking for shelter in this city crowded, I recommend you stop here. a hug from your dear Abu Adam, thanks for everything, I hope to come back soon. I already miss you so much.

Stayed here in Sep 2023 Great location, lovely staff, super comfortable. One of the coolest hostels in town Liked · 1. Great location, about 10mins walk from Tahrir Square. All eateries, hookah cafes, etc are just around the corner 2. Lovely staff, speak great english, very friendly and very helpful 3. Rooms were comfortable, beds were cozy and all amenities were great 4. There's a very nice terrace area to relax, chill out n socialise with other guests/travellers. 5. Wifi works great everywhere and I think the included breakfast is great too (although I didn't get to have it as I had to leave in the night for a night bus) Disliked · 1. Make a note of the power cut timings as the hostel is located on 6th floor n it's a long way up.

Cecilia hostel is a cozy place and a nice option if you like the vibes of old historical downtown buildings. The location is great and very close to Sadat metro station. I loved the view from the roof (mohammed mahmoud street) and the amazing couple of white fantail pigeons they have 🤍🤍 It’s safe for solo girl travelers and the staff are friendly. I had a room with a king bed, it was clean and spacious. The air condition was old and loud though, I couldn’t use it at night. The breakfast was average and takes a while to be prepared so order it early if you are in a hurry. Wifi was decent. If you need quietness, get your earplugs. There is Beano’s cafe just across the street and a superb restaurant called “Oldish” few steps away. Mini-market, pharmacy, bakery are all very close. All-in-all, good experience!
