I found this hotel at last minute by recommendation after we came very disappointed from a near by hotel.Entering El Shams was like entering a oasis. Beautiful and comfortable rooms,clean and cool,perfect bathroom.Staff went beyond to help with everything. Everyday we came from our visits and we are greeted with big smiles and friendlyness. The manager recognizes us every single time when we entered or left . The reception is beautiful,bright and clean as a areas.Breakfast is served on the last floor with a nice view. Value for the money 10/10. Absolutely perfect stay in the heart of Cairo 😍

It is a good hotel overall, however avoid booking one of the rooms that face the street. It’s a clean hotel in great location and has great breakfast 1. All rooms showers don’t have shower curtains; that’s why any time you take showers, the bath becomes messy. 2: Those rooms facing the street don’t have soundproof windows, which is why you can’t sleep at all because of the noise outside.

I spent a week at this awesome hotel in Cairo. It is in very condition, very clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. They even helped me recover my bag I left on the bus!! The breakfast was good and overall it was a great stay! I highly recommend this hotel.
