The food is just terrible. Knowing how good Turkish food can be it was such a suppose that here they spoilt every bit of it. And most importantly it is NOT fresh. The chicken doner had a definitive smell of spoilt chicken while the merjemeck soup was just blunt.. no taste at all. And theyvtrued to put on me saying that my taste buds are not working. Well... and that was aggressive. Avoid.

We stayed at a hotel nearby and walked past the restaurant Querencia which is located inside the hotel every morning. We got threatened by a big muscly guy after looking at the menu and not deciding to eat there. Avoid the place, it is a tourist trap anyways.

Had a late check in to the hotel after our flight landed in Istanbul. It's quite a small budget hotel located in the city centre, location wise it's convenient. Though we booked a deluxe room, the room on the first floor was very small with a queen size bed. Barely any room to move around. It was clean although. The bathroom was bad. Using the wash basin was a joke as it was more aesthetic than utilitarian. The shower was a tiny cubicle that ended before you even entered. The elevator is tiny and barely fits two people. Breakfast was very average, very few options in the menu. The location is convenient however and most attractions are in a few kilometres distance. In hindsight I wouldn't pay so much for the place.
