Lovely experience! Me and my boyfriend stayed in New Cherry Hotel for a week and we were very satisfied of the room (a little one but we spent most of the day seesighting the city). The place was clean and they also asked us to clean two more times during the week. Ali was very nice and friendly to us and gave us good advices about particular places to visit. The hotel is very near to the Blue Mosques, Aya Sofia and the other turistic places (10/15 min walking) but it's also in a very local quarter were you can find traditional cafes, restaurant and artisan shops! During the day you will hear the Islamic pray from various mosques which will be so impressive for a European tourist and it tells you much (but not everything) about the community life in these local quarters in Istanbul. Public transports are 15 min far by walking and also taxies and Uber are always available. We preferred to walk as much as we can because this city changes in every street and this is so fascinating! We really thank you the New Cherry Hotel stuff :)

Very good location. The staff is very professional and friendly. The beds are okay. Good value for money. Good wifi connection (free WiFi) Maybe the acoustic isolation and the cleaning can be improved a little bit.

The basement room is extremely dirty and full of mold. That room is not what we have booked. To be avoided.

All good reviews above are fake! Our hotel was canceled at the last moment and we had to look for a replacement a few hours before arrival... 1. rooms are much smaller than it’s written at booking 2. veeeery poor cleaning. Bed linen with stains, fungus in the shower, even chewing gum at the head of the bed. Terrible smell of chlor - cleaning lady was using it a lot but it was still dirty around… The shower towel holder was just torn off one side. Ventilation grille with adhesive tape. Changing the number didn't help. 3. veeeeeeery noisy - you can lottery hear what neighbors is doing. 4. also from ventilation from shower cones all smells from other(s) room and it’s veeery noisy when automatically it starting with light on… 5. location - yes it’s not far from sultanahmet BUT there is no fresh air - too much cars on very small road with always running… located next to small park with kids playing yard but there is at night sleeping homeless people… next to supermarket also and it’s only pluses. I would really hope and recommend owner to make normal restoration of room (bathrooms), give bed linen for professional cleaning, make noise isolation and write truth about sizes of the rooms. And stop adding fake rates in google and booking!
