Central hostel Milano is not a big hostel, run by a couple. Heating is very enough and clean, I stayed in a 4 person's mix dorm, there is frige, microwave and huge toilet with shower. We can use the kitchen in the other side of the hostel. The couple owner are very friendly, I realize running a hostel is not easy, there are so many different people; the night I stayed there is a Japanese guy who made lots of noise when cooking, he occupied hours of the kitchen , and turned the kitchen into mess; there are a family who asked this and that, even asked me to lend them my slippers for shower, I thought it's only for the wife, but in fact the husband and the wife! I waited with bare feet for almost half an hour..the couple are extremely patient! I didn't find bedbugs, bed is comfortable, the only thing is the owner are not always around, I waited quite some time, but she let me leave my bag in the office and checked in in the afternoon. I think in Milan is like that, most economic hostels are run by family. Over all, I would recommend this hostel to travelers, it's close to train station so it's convenient to and from the airport.

The rooms are ok but the bathrooms are dirty and need some repair work done. The wifi doesn't reach the far rooms which is extremely annoying and they often have the couch in the common area rented out to solo travelers so its uncomfortable to sit out there just to look something up. Additionally, they do not provide enough towels for the number of guests, i.e 2 towels for 4 people?? Their limited office hours make it difficult to ask for additional towels

Terrible service. Accidentally booked a room on Ferragosto, when they were unable to host me after 22.00. Said they would give me the costs of the booking back, which they never did, despite 10+ calls over the course of a month, during most of which they simply hung up on me in the middle of the conversation, or never picked up the phone.

My recent experience with Central Hostel Milano has been nothing short of a nightmare. I had made a booking through Expedia, looking forward to a pleasant stay. However, upon arrival, I was met with closed doors and an outright refusal to allow me to check in. Seeking assistance, I contacted the hostel directly, only to be met with callous indifference. They coldly informed me that they were closed and washed their hands of any responsibility, directing me to seek a refund from the booking website. Naturally, I turned to Expedia's customer care, hoping for a swift resolution to this distressing situation. To my dismay, the response from Expedia's support team was equally disheartening. They displayed a shocking lack of accountability and customer care, stating that a refund was not possible. This is inexcusable considering the clear fault of the property and Expedia's role in facilitating the booking. Central Hostel Milano's behavior is downright criminal, and it is disheartening to see Expedia supporting such unscrupulous establishments. Their lack of professionalism, disregard for their guests' well-being, and refusal to rectify the situation is nothing short of disgraceful. I strongly caution anyone considering staying at Central Hostel Milano to think twice. Their actions exemplify a complete disregard for their customers and their money. Additionally, Expedia's failure to advocate for its customers and provide a refund only further tarnishes their reputation. As a consumer, I refuse to be taken advantage of by these crooks. I will be pursuing legal action to protect my rights, and I urge others who have faced similar mistreatment to do the same. In conclusion, steer clear of Central Hostel Milano and exercise caution when dealing with Expedia. It is deeply regrettable that such dishonest businesses continue to operate, preying on unsuspecting travelers and sullying the reputation of the hospitality industry as a whole.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Cockroaches were EVERYWHERE, including in the beds, bathroom, and everyone's bags. During the situation, they refused to provide a refund or alternative room and were extremely rude, so I had to personally find a new place at 1am in the morning. Since then, they have ignored all attempts by booking.com to contact them and thus never refunded me for the unacceptable conditions.
