We had a wonderful family stay at the Altesse Chalet. We stayed all the extended family in a beautiful apartment occupied with everything we needed and more. Thought about everything from high chair to kids utensils. Great service and assistance with everything we needed. Cant wait to come back next year

One word can describe our stay: PERFECT ! Chalet Altesse benefits from a unique location, which was a key criteria for us. With the magnificent direct view of the Matterhorn in the foreground, we enjoyed a signature Zermatt experience. As a family of 4 with 2 children, we wanted a place that was close to the start of the ski lifts, but also to the center of Zermatt, without being in the midst of the nightlife. Chalet Altesse is ideally located in one of the most chic area of Zermatt, just a few minutes walk from the start of the "Furi" skilift. It is also possible to take the free bus at the stop next to it to go to the skilift (1 stop) or in a few stops to the center of Zermatt. The apartment was in pristine condition, spacious, quiet, decorated with good taste and branded design furniture. Although we mostly ate outside, we enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen for breakfast. The daily croissant delivery, with bread order as an option was very practical. Nikki, the Chalet Manager anticipated all our needs and was fully available to us, which made us feel we were the sole customers in the small building (whereas it was fully booked). Chalet Altesse belongs to a well-known family from Zermatt that also owns the famous Zum See restaurant. They will do the outmost to share their love of Zermatt and have you enjoy a perfect stay in Switzerland’s best ski resort (says the Swiss guy !). To be recommended without any restriction !
