We loved it here very much: perfect location directly at the beach, spacious and clean rooms - we were so happy about the comfortable beds. Breakfast varies every day and was included. Nice Pool and Beach Bar area. Cocktails are a bit too pricey. Took advantage of the kajaks and went to the Ghost ship during sunset. You will also get beautiful sunrises and might be lucky to have all the beach for yourself. We had a really great relaxing time at Chivapuri.

This place is heaven. I went alone for a few days to escape the madness, it would be ideal for couples or family, it’s very safe and the beach is spotless. The hotel had free kayaks to use which was lovely out in the sea. The sea wasn’t too deep there either. The restaurant was lovely and the setting in the evenings by the beach was out of this world. I stayed in a suite and it was incredible with a nice big bath and separate shower area. If it’s nitelife your after stay further up the island near the ferry, (or go to Pattaya which has the best nitelife in the world) but if you want to disappear into tranquility this is the spot. There is a little pier with lots of shops and restaurants (not so many bars but all the restaurants serve beer and you can sit on the pier which was a nice thing too. I travelled all around the island on a motorbike and was having seen the whole island I was glad I picked Chivapuri to stay. The only one thing I’d say negative but don’t let it put you off is the road into the resort goes from tarmac to concrete and then to dirt road. It was easily manageable but the dirt road section was pretty rocky and not so comfortable on the bike. But I’m being really pedantic here and when that’s the only negative after 5 days you know you’re onto a good thing.

Good Breakfast (nice mix of Thai and Western), beautiful Restaurant and Bar with good Food. Beachfront and Garden is keept very clean (too clean sometimes). Pool is very nice, but careful really suitible for the mobility resgricted lots of stairs and steps. Overall i would say: Garden ++++ Pool: +++ Restaurant ++++ Breakfast ++++ Rooms ++++
