The room was overpriced for what it offered, but ok, since it was clean.. I liked the service people as they were helpful. Our beds were not made during the day. But that happened in other resorts I stayed in as well. But what really left a bad impression is that they make no effort whatsoever to clean the beach and mangroves in front of the resort from trash. There was so much plastics. Only resort I stayed during my travels that did not try to do anything against that.

At the southern top of Koh Chang and a 2 min boat ride (free, provided by the hotel) to Bang Bao Pier where you ride out to dive sites. Great lodging option if you want a no-frills diving friendly hotel. BTW, Resolution has really fast wifi if that matters to you.

Gorgeous hotel, just renovated and it shows. Extremely friendly owner that is always around at dinner hour to chat. All the help speaks English quite well and were very polite and helpful. It's a small & quiet resort where you can truly relax. The hotel is a 45 minute drive from the ferry and it's a tough one, be prepared. But you get a serene & beautiful spot for that treacherous ride.

We stayed here with my bf and we love it so much. The enjoyment we had during kayaking was just superb and unforgettable. We were able also to witness the harmless monkeys wandering on top of our villa. Just don't offer food or they might attack you (who knows) also do not put food outside your balcony or they will steal hahaha. The place just adorable for us and we will surely come back for sunset 📸 pics as we weren't able to grasp during our stay. The people working there are genuine. Thank you Resolution resort :)

Outstanding and very helpful staff! The best attraction about Resolution is its beautiful views of the bay and the mountains across from it, the peaks rise right up to scrape the clouds above them. It truly reminded me of being back in Hawaii. 🏝 We felt that accommodations were excellent value for the price we paid. The place has a superb restaurant (we recommend their pizzas, apparently the chef used to run an Italian pizzeria, the crust is so good and the ingredients are fresh). The pool is also pretty chill, very large and deep, great for doing laps in the sun. Resolution is especially good if you are a scuba diver because bang bao pier is just a short 5 min boat ride across the Bay. I recommend BB divers. 👌 We will certainly be coming back here. This place is such a well-kept secret. So quiet and relaxing and you really get pampered by the staff. We even saw one gentleman who had lost his mobile phone along the road somewhere while motorbiking. The manager was able to assist him in locating the phone by using apple locate and posting in the local Koh Chang Facebook group. The weary traveller was beyond grateful. It was so nice to see resort staff go so far above and beyond for the people they host. This is what Koh Chang is all about. A small town and slower vibe than the rest of the islands in Thailand.
