Overall, a good Marriott but there are some areas for improvement. Pros - very large suite upgrade due to Titanium status - executive lounge access with decent hot food in the evenings and selection of alcoholic beverages. Soda and coffee throughout the day. - excellent pool, ideal for lap swimming (but no marked lanes). Quite long but only about 4 feet deep. Gym and pool are on the 27th floor. - hotel is still in good shape, but showing wear around the edges: broken automatic shades, stuck sliding doors, random/odd odors, peelong ceiling, etc. - amazing open air rooftop area on the 50th floor. Skybar appeared permanently closed. Cons - hotel does *not* enforce it's nonsmoking policy, which was frustrating. Someone kept smoking near the gym everyday, but staff didn't notice. - fitness center has four treadmills. One was marked as broken, but others had issues too (software gltiches), but front desk staff didn't understand or cared to fix these. - despite being an international hotel, English amongst staff was not prevalent. - location is semi isolated, so will need to use taxis to get around - Chinese firewall was particularly strong here. Commercial VPNs were effectively useless.

Great location nearby river At night, you can see many young people with street food and drinks right in front of the hotel.

I checked in very late and my room preferences weren't met. I called the front desk and one of the duty managers Cary came up personally to apologize about not noting a feather free room. It was so late at night but he quickly switched the bedding with the housekeeping staff and the next day upgraded to a beautiful sweet. He was so nice and in fact everyone was at the property. Despite the room hiccup with the feathers, the stay was wonderful. Breakfast was much tastier than other properties, location is great, and the property is well maintained.

They provide neat and nice room with competitive price. This building is very tall and easy to see scenery of Chongqing. But if you want to enjoy full scenery, I recommend you to visit Sheraton Chongqing hotel rather than this place. The executive lounge was well prepared for customers. The lobby is on the 28th floor. The executive lounge is on the 47th floor. The gym, spa, and swimming pool are 29th floor.
