Me and hubby stayed twice here. Luxury rooms but not Luxury prices. All the staff was very polite and friendly (don't know why some reviews say otherwise) already booked again, highly recommended 👌

Great size rooms. Air conditioning is good but requires €20 deposit and TV remote another €20 deposit. Not worth the TV as channels not tuned in or not working. Pool is fine. Rooms are clean. Very bad smell from bathroom on arrival but staff sorted it out. 👍

I will echo some poorer reviews on here although I will defend the venue's right to charge 50 euro deposit and for remotes etc as is their prerogative but they certainly are not welcoming to same sex groups. We were essentially eyeballed and judged from the minute we stepped to the desk by the seemingly furious lady that greeted us, signing behaviour contracts and the like. Let me qualify our alarm at this - we are a group of middle aged men! Anyway we continued to enjoy ourselves when sure enough the next AM we had a noise warning, when I asked what could that possibly be and how could it be attributed to us I was met with 'you may have spoken on the stairs'..….....a grave crime indeed. Anyway, rooms are great and spacious, pool area good, bar comfortable serving great cider, bar staff and security nice but a couple of Ill tempered folk on the desk made it feel like you were staying at an auditors! Shame really.

So first of all we aren't even in the hotel as they have put us in a apartment down the road.. 4th floor no lift! So be prepared to carry your luggage yourself. Staff never showed us to the room told us the wrong number too.. couldn't check in til 4pm. So now we are in the room we have 3 single beds that are worse than laying on the floor. Shutter to bedroom window doesn't shut so people can walk past and see you asleep as there is no curtain either. Bathroom absolutely stinks so bad so having to brush teeth in the kitchen .. hair has been in the plughole in the shower since being here. Then we have paid for self catering... the cooker doesn't work! So having to eat out everyday. The dog next door doesn't shut up barking all day long as the owners leave it. Also you jave yo pay £20 for the TV remote and £20 for the aircon which we was never told they just sent us off to this disgrace of a room. And the swimming pool down stairs is absolutely rank. Also they do not change your bedding they just remake it and we have only had the cleaners here 2ce in a week! But they don't do their job properly atall! So if you get told to stay in b2 407 which is the wrong address written on the key it's 28 407 say no! The room is so dated looks nothing like the photos when we booked we was completely misled

The worse hotel I’ve ever been to, I know that I didn’t pay much but I stayed in 2 star hotel in Porto, much better, first of al on my arrival I was made to wait for an hour as my room had been vandalised on the night before and the window was broken, I asked the receptionist which wasn’t very pleasant if I could get another room as I was feeling well and she told me to wait.secondly no information was given about,wif as we didn’t have internet in the rooms just at the bar,had to pay extra for jacuzzi, sauna. If you want e watch TV you had to pay for extra Chanel, and leave deposit for,TV control, hairdryer, iron, the food was ok, music at bar was ok, Maria, Graça, receptionist made it só easy lovely people( receptionist) Manuel ( bar man) amazing, rooms were ok, swimming pool full of bogs, I couldn’t wait to get home.
