Our accommodation in Kyoto was just perfect. We were a group of seven people and we very much enjoyed staying in a traditional japanese house during our stay. The location is very convenient for exploring Kyoto, the whole apartment well equipped and very stylish, the bathroom a treat. Last but not least, the staff at Machiya Residence Inn has been very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Thank you so much!

The house is located in a quite community between Kyoto Imperial Palace and Nishiki market, 10 mins walking to metro station, and 3 stops to Kyoto station. There are plenty of restaurants and convenient stores around. The house, a real traditional Japanese one newly renovated and well equipped, is just perfect. The staffs, speaking good English, are friendly, helpful and informative.

Lovely Japanese style accommodation. Service is exceptional, they cleaned our house each day, arranged for couriers to collect our luggage, and even permitted a late check out on request.
