The room had enough space, was clean, comfortable and the AC was good. Internet speed was acceptable and works if we need to have a conference call. The location is close to Termini, so from the hotel we can easily go to any place.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the so-called "hotel" Chroma Tessera in Rome, and it was a complete nightmare. This place shouldn't even be classified as a hotel, as it lacks even the basic amenities and services one would expect. I was shocked to discover that the host actually entered my room without any prior notification or permission while I was absent. I had hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, clearly indicating that I wanted privacy, but they completely disregarded it. This invasion of personal space is beyond unacceptable and violates any notion of guest privacy and comfort. To summarize, Chroma Tessera in Rome is a complete disaster. Stay away from this "hotel" if you value your sanity and expect even the most basic level of hospitality. The lack of a reception, false advertisement, unauthorized room entry, and nonexistent room service are just a few of the many reasons why this place deserves a one-star rating. Save yourself the headache and find a proper hotel that actually cares about its guests.

To start with on arival we were unable to gain access as the so colled hotel was in fact a single floor of an apartment block that also housed other companies and private residence and entry could only be gained via an intercome which we press serveral times without getting a responce. eventually we were able to get a local cafe worker to telephone the hotel and speak to someone who then came and let us in, the website says that the staff speak english but in fact the staff consisted of one woman who spoke no english at all. The room was nothing like it was advertised and when you opened the balcany doors the whole of the small balcany was taken up with a air con unit that was covered in bird poo, the smell was so bad that you could not leave the doors open and the birds outside the window were very noisey. the room very very poorly decorated, there was limescale around the shower and the fridge door was broken, the website was very misleading as it stated things that just were not true. it said that there was a minibar - not true, it sayd there was a coffee house on site - not true, it said that you could have breakfast - no breakfast was available and there was nowhere to eat it. it said that there were bathrobes - not true. outside the hotel there were a number of bins overflowing with rubbish and there was litter everywhere, a large number of rough sleepers in the area and very dirty everywhere. when we complained to the hotel their responce was that we should be more careful where we book and that no refund or apoligie was even considered. I would never stay her again , very very disapointing
