Second stay here (last visited almost 10 years ago). Love the Latin vibe and homely atmosphere. Has some lovely bars, pubs and restaurants outside. Staff are friendly and allowed us to store our luggage for the afternoon.

Great budget hotel. Very reasonable price. Warm, clean, comfortable room. Helpful staff. Enjoyed the honesty bar and self service breakfast. Relaxed and homely feel. Will definitely be returning.

This is a great hotel that makes you feel like you are part of the city and not just in a big chain hotel. The staff was superb and the dinning/lounge area made you feel as comfortable and close to home as possible.

This hotel is by far the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. It has a Mexican theme and the decor is just outstanding. It's in such a great area - Camberwell. There's great pubs and food outlets nearby. It's only ten minutes to the excellent Kings hospital. The staff are so nice, I've enjoyed talking to all of them, Paige is really lovely. I've had such great conversations with the staff and the customers - I met four great Australians here and some cool Dutch people. Plus I had a great conversation with a gentleman from Oregon USA. So it's invigorating being around people from all over the world. One of the many fabulous things about this hotel is each room has a dvd player and the hotel has a fantastic DVD library so you can take dvds to your room - such a great idea!! The whole place is fully double glazed, the showers are great - the shower gel provided is the best I've ever used and smells lovely. I simply cannot recommend this hotel enough. I've stayed in a huge amount of hotels all over the world, this may actually be the best.

The location is great! I was able to hop on and off the bus to get to the tourist attractions. The hotel is run down all the way. The furniture looks like it falling apart in the lounge area and breakfast space. It's an old property so plumbing is not good the toilet broke in our room on the first day. They do not have a vacuum on property even though its carpet throughout the hotel. Not our best stay, glad it was only for 2 nights.
