Horrible stay. The hotel is supposed to be smoke free but the room smelt heavily of smoke. It was impossible to reach the hotel reception it was past the hours they are available (9 to 5) and there is no one at the reception desk at all, even during the day. When I finally heard back from someone, they said it must have come from the outside... so they opened the windows to air out the room. Makes sense, right? Otherwise, the hotel is noisy and it's hard to fall asleep. The only positive thing to say is that the location is decent. They really need to work on their customer service. If you have any issues, expect them to gaslight you. Also, beware, they have automated reviews to boost their ratings. Sadly I found this out too late.

Rating: 7/10 Room: nice little room, good layout to maximize space. Work desk is useful, and the bed is comfy. The fold out dinner table is great. The shower is powerful and there's a little ledge in the shower area, which is great. Comfort: bed is comfy, and the blinds are good. Not much noise from the outside. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise from the floor above you, and from the corridor. You can hear people talking, walking, moving chairs, etc. It's really the main downside of this place. Amenities: Wifi is good. Unfortunately there is nowhere to do laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat nearby. Location: good location. Close to the Oporto 5/6 stop which is super handy for getting into the city center. There are multiple supermarkets (e.g. mercadona) and there's a burger king close by. Price: maybe a small bit overpriced but not by too much. Other: it is useful that guests can receive mail, and the staff were responsive over WhatsApp.
