Excellent facilities. Biggest and most well equipped gym I've seen in a hotel and a beautiful instagrammable infinity swimming pool overlooking the city skyline. Changing rooms have a sauna with aesop products and Dyson hairdryer. Laundrette is 24 hours with a dryer (bring your own detergent or buy from front desk). Lots of beautiful seating areas to chill. Rooms in the aparthotel are comfortable with all the amenities needed for a long stay and very clean. Staff are generally friendly but don't expect the best English. They allowed for early check in and late check out which was much appreciated. They also allow food delivery. Negatives: Requested some extra amenities multiple times from the ASR app and it never came, called the front desk and they promised to bring it up and it still didn't come. They also failed to honour their best rate guarantee though their form does not work, which makes one wonder if Ascott purposely doesn't allow you to submit a valid BRG request to avoid upholding the extra points promised. Shower area in the toilet can be a bit slippery as well as the floors near the pool. Very hot outside... hard to walk anywhere as the hotel is surrounded mainly by empty plots of land still. Also, some rooms may get noise from the train hooting or street noise outside but PP tends to be noisy in general. Rooms with balconies aren't completely sound proof. ----------- You can see the slums near the railway tracks below, a grim reminder that there are communities living in poverty just below, hoping something can be done to support and uplift them. We may need to consider why such luxury is built right next and maybe on top of land possibly taken away from families who already have so little.
