Overall very enjoyable experience. The hotel was very accommodating, we mentioned we would be traveling with an infant and they immediately prepared a baby tub and crib in our room. We had a late check-in and they worked around our schedule. The hotel is located close to many places and they even have valet service. Room was clean and the provided breakfast was quite tasty. Will definitely be back to stay again in the future ☺️

After an extended stay (41 days) in this hotel, I summarize my experience here. This hotel makes me feel at home. #1. Location - this hotel is 5 mins walking distance away from Dongmen Taipei MRT station. More importantly, this station serves as a transfer station between red and yellow lines. In addition, with one station away, one can hop on the other 3 main lines: green, blue, and/or brown lines. It is a convenient spot to start one's touring around the city. #2. Facility: the room is clean, sound insulation is adequate. There is a Toto Washlet. One minor drawback is only one room style offers tub, others only have shower. I noticed that it also offers rooms for handicaps. #3. Staff: The front-desk staff is efficient, courteous, and professional. The way that custodian cleaned my room is more than I can say. There are staff on site 24/7. #4. Breakfast: This place offers FREE breakfast including a simple continental breakfast (breads, pastry, milk, coffee, soybean milk, and orange juice), a small salad bar, and simple traditional Taiwanese breakfast. The arrangement is sufficient. The chef is considerate in preparing hot dished for vegetarians. I seldom found repetitions. The coffee is freshly brewed with good bean. I stopped practicing Intermittent Fasting (16/8) during this extended stay. #5. On-site laundry machine and dryer. This is an extremely important feature for someone plans stay long. The bottom line: A great hotel managed by a great team with high cost-performance ratio. I will recommend it, in a heart beat, to anyone plans to visit Taipei.

If you wanna go to the north of Taipei, this hotel is the best choice. Because you can take a bus easier and also cheaper than go to Taipei main station.

Wonderful breakfast, child friendly, quite, clean, regretless stay. Liked · 1. I loved the breakfast. We stayed for 6 days in total, and they provided different breakfast each day! Full of healthy food choices, Chinese and western. All carefully selected and made with great dedication to quality of ingredients. There is fresh ground coffee too but with automatic machine. My favorite was the cherry tomatoes, I guess they are locally grown in Taiwan thus so sweet and fresh. Then the nice selection of bread including small croissants which I can heat up with the small oven and make a nice croissant smoked salmon sandwich. Selection of fresh fruits are also different every day. 2. Kids friendly - they offered my 3 year old son a baby cot at no additional cost, comes with cute little pillow and duvet with animals which my son adored! Their cantine also provided baby chair for my son, with baby utensils and plate, and let him eat the buffet for free! 3. Clean. Bathroom had dry and wet sections partitioned so the shower water won't flow out to the toilet and basin regions. 4. Quiet. I've read a lot of reviews about other hotels being very noisy, with thin walls. I suspect this hotel doesn't have very good sound proofing with the doors cz I can easily hear other rooms' door lock beeping sounds, but the hotel was very quite still, maybe because neighbors were all considerate, and our window is not facing the street. 5. Other facilities that I always make sure a hotel has that this hotel also provides: washing machine, dryer, lift landing on all floors, windows. 6. Other less essential bonus: free bottled water x2 /day, mini fridge, free packet coffee/tea, kettle, free toiletries, hair dryer, VERY strong flow of shower water with hot water running out pretty quickly. Table corners are protected with childproof rounded corners. Fairly spacious, we could fit our large pram and 2 suitcases and still walk around freely. Friendly reception staff. Disliked · 1. Window couldn't be opened when we tried by ourselves. Seems to be locked. 2. Air con was hard to adjust to the right temperature. I can't choose warm air vs cold air mode, I can only choose the desired temperature, so it'll be sometimes blowing cold air, sometimes hot. Room is very dry due to the aircon. 3. Lights are not working very well, the light bulbs tend to flicker. And even when I turn on all the lights the room is still pretty dim.
