City Stay Apartments Lindenstraße

It was a great promise. They even scheduled myntime of arrival with me. But even so the apartment was not ready and I had to wait for more than an hour. And what's worse is that they changed my location on the spot, even though I specifically asked for the Lindenstrasse place. I ended up in the main location, on top.of a busy street, with non stop traffic, including that of a tram. Obviously this is extremely noisy, even at the middle of night, and not so suitable for a family with small kids who wake up in the middle of the night. And they didn't even offer a compensation, and still charged me the price of my original, more expensive, room. Too bad for all of this, because otherwise this could have been a positive experience. The room itself was very nice, but the experience will drive me back to using hotels

There are way too many problems with this apartment. One: the staff or whoever works there have really bad attitude and are extremely Rude. Two: we stayed this summer and there is no AC at all the only thing they’ll give you is a small fan which barely cools you. And we had a hard time sleeping because it was so freaking hot Three: when we open the windows so we could get fresh air atleast because the fans are useless. too many freaking insects and bees come inside. One of my siblings who stayed with me was stung. Four: the bed that we slept on was not clean from the moment we came and slept there. The next day my face was itchy and red, Although we complained and they changed the bed covers and the mattress it was no use. Five: well this one is a story time. so basically we rented 2 apartments and each apartment has three rooms. ( the living room was turned into a bedroom). So we obviously had so many laundry. There were 3 laundry rooms and we used to 2 because 2 apartments. And fyi the laundry machines are not for free and to use them you have to pay like 2 to 5 Swiss francs depending on the temperature you want to use to wash. So one day we were washing our clothes left them and went up to our apartment and then went back down and saw that someone made our temperature very high which ruined our clothes and they were thrown out of the washing machine. (One of the clothes that were ruined was expensive and cost about 130 Swiss francs). And on top of that the lady at the reception told us to stop using the washing machine a lot and other people want to use it. Six: the cleaning service that comes and cleans your apartment every week is useless they just tidy up the bed. Anything on the floor they don’t pickup and on top of that it costs 500 Swiss francs. Seven: when we were done and ready to leave they came to check the apartments and one of my little siblings stained the walls chocolate. And they told us that we have to pay for the paint. And Then we came and showed the lady to came to check that the walls can be cleaned and it’s chocolate for freaking sake. We cleaned it for her and then she realized that you can bring a wet towel and wipe that stuff off. In conclusion, never going to stay there ever again. Lesson learned.
