We arrived at the hotel at 9 am after a 14 hour flight from Vancouver. We understood that the check-in time was 3 pm and since we were exhausted, I was planning to pay for an extra day so we can check-in early when Judy politely informed that they were fully booked and an early check-in was not possible. However, she went above and beyond to have a room available for us to check-in at 11 am! She even confirmed the bed options with me while we were waiting at the lobby. Her professionalism, eagerness to help and positive attitude are greatly appreciated. Room is spacious, clean and the twin beds are super comfortable. I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to my friends who are planning to visit Taipei.

Stayed here for 20 days! Pros: Big spacious room Great location - love the park next door and the local vibe here. Good value Cons: Smoke smell... I actually found a cigarette bud in my room which was shocking. Mixed reviews: Some staff were more helpful than others. Regarding the smoke, they were helpful in helping me move rooms, and they also provided a dehumidifier which helped remove the smell.

Hotel location good. Short walking distance to the famous night market and the 101 Taipei. Mrt is about 7 mins from hotel too. Room/toilet spacious and clean. Breakfast to me acceptable. Many eateries around hotel area. Overall I was pleased with my stay at this hotel.

BREAKFAST: Very limited choice. No cereals. No fruits. No yoghurt. Hot food is more warm than hot or cold. ROOMS: Very poor sound isolation between rooms. Bed near the door which is near the corridor so you hear everything outside. AMBIANCE: Shabby feeling, front desk is cluttered and unimpressive. STARS: More like 2 or 3 star hotel. PRICE: Much better places and prices available elsewhere.
