Gave a low rating specifically for the quality of the service, the front office staff. While I was staying there were apparently some renovations going on, I was in a room very close to where this was occurring. They would start very early in the morning, around 7-8am, and the noise was so loud it would wake me up. I’m a pretty chill guy and work a rotating schedule so at the end of the day my sleep getting disrupted isn’t the end of the world. All I did was briefly mention when I was checking out that the noise was loud very early. The person at the desk, think it might have been a manager, decided to put the blame on me, saying I had agreed/acknowledged there were renovations going on when I booked the room? I was 99% sure she was wrong, I had only booked it a couple weeks before and didn’t remember anything of the sort. I just said ok and left. I got on my phone right away and tried to book a room that night to see if any sort of supposed acknowledgment came up and it didn’t. I then called choice hotels customer service just to mention that I was pretty turned off by the interaction. Again, I never really even made a fuss, just a brief mention checking out and she immediately turned it around on me as if it were my fault for booking a room at their noisy hotel? The customer service representative even said that there was no record of any renovations going on. So, either someone was lying or misinformed, but either way it’s no reason to somehow turn it around on a guest. It was a fine place for the price, decent location, but wouldn’t trust the people who work there.

No refrigerator, worst customer service, room and pictures online are not what it seems to be in person . The pictures are lies. The room was left normal then after the whole worst experience they charged a cleaning fee!!! Isn’t that what the housekeeping is for? They also charged my card twice. When I noticed right away and walked right back in they said it would take 4-5 business days for me to get my money back. Worst hotel worst experience do not stay here!

Poor value: Paid $500+ for Saturday and Sunday night in July 2023. The photos on the website are not accurate for this bare bones room which was dark and like staying in a basement. Narrow bathroom door grazes toilet seat in tiny bathroom. Cleanliness and towels were satisfactory. Mattress hard. Can overhear other guests. If you have to stay here, get upstairs room. Didn't expect luxury, but I expected more based on what I paid and website photos. I didn't read reviews before booking and I should have! Like PG a lot and will be shopping for other options on our next trip.

It's an old property, so their footprint is limited and space in the parking lot is tight. Most nights, I just want a nice shower and a comfortable bed. This property misses on both of those counts. The rooms have been updated, but they are small (you have to close the door to use the toilet). The mattresses are not comfortable and the pillows are lacking. The pillows in my Comfort Suites room are far superior and there are three, as opposed to two at this property. The television is barely functional, often delivering a lost signal message. Even when we could get a channel to show up, it didn't fill out the full screen, effectively turning a 30-inch screen into a 19-inch screen (or smaller). The shower in the bathroom had very poor water pressure. I withheld judgement on that to make sure it wasn't some kind of California restriction that impacted everyone, but the shower at the Comfort Suites tonight was normal and more than adequate. There were also ants crawling up the wall in the bathroom, but the towels were soft and they provided plenty of soap and shampoo. Besides the ants, the room was clean and it was nice to have the room cleaned on a two-night stay, which seems less common these days. The rate was affordable, relative to other properties in the area, but far too high for the quality of stay delivered. Rather than stay a third night and leave early for a morning flight, I went to San Jose and saved $30 on a much better room. Front desk said my frequent stay number was entered, but it was not shown as such on my receipt.
