Great location and a lovely hotel. You can walk everywhere in Barcelona with ease. Breakfast is wonderful. Service is impeccable. Only gripe was the room size. I knew that going in that it was a risk, the description was clear, but as a Globalist I gambled on an upgrade but didn't get it. My wife and I were kind of tripping over each other in the room and the bathroom space was tight. A nice bonus - we got several bottles of Cava from the hotel.

Exquisite Hotel. We were met at the door by a porter with a friendly good day and shown to reception. The receptionist was very bubbly and was happy to answer our questions, she had a very good knowledge of the area and suggested places to visit. There were three lifts and a staircase to the rooms, all very nicely furnished with good space within the rooms. There was no charge for the mini bar and the complimentary bathroom extras were a nice thought. Breakfast was a mix of buffet and table service depending on what you would like. A special mention should be made regarding the Terrace. This is where the swimming pool is situated and the Terrace Restaurant and Bar. We ate tapas which was tasty and well worth the money. The waiters were engaging and had a good knowledge of the food they were serving. I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay. I wish we were here for longer as I would have liked to have used the spa

Beautiful hotel within a great neighborhood. Was pleasantly surprised with how quiet the hotel was and the level of service we received from most of the staff. My only criticism of the hotel has to be when we asked if we could purchase extra chocolates that were provided in our room, given how tasty they were, we were told no and that they were a complimentary offering only available once. We found this incredibly odd given we were not asking for free extras but an ability to purchase more. Nevertheless, we were able to find similar chocolates at a local shop but still, I’m not used to anything not being for sale in a hotel so that was just unique. It’s lovely that they have a partnership with the Egyptian Museum and that you are able to attend that as well when you stay. Upon returning to Barcelona, we would likely return again.
