A very pleasant apartment, centrally located (10 minute walk to the Coloseum). It is nicely decorated and has plenty of light. As it faces an interior courtyard, there is no problem with noise. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a five story building - the elegant, old-fashioned elevator is a welcome addition! The efficient staff promptly resolved all our questions prior to our arrival so we had no need to contact them during our stay. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the decoration of the living room - compared with the rest of this comfortable home, it is a bit empty.

I discovered From Home to Rome sheerly by happenstance: it was my first trip to Rome. In 2011 my friend and I looked at the available options online , and we came across Emanuele and his team who were renting apartments in Rome. They responded quickly to our enquiries and it didn’t take long to decide to book with them. We were two single women who wanted to spend months in Italy: but wanted to feel secure in our surroundings and also be able to walk everywhere in the historic centre. This was my first experience with the hospitality of Emanuele and his incredible team. There was nothing they wouldn’t do to make us feel comfortable and safe: from arranging a car at the airport that took us straight to the apartment, to the fresh flowers and bread left to greet us, to the binder of every conceivable answer to any questions we might have during our stay in Rome. Emanuele graciously helped us out during our stay with any thing we needed: by the time I left Rome it had become my second home. I try to go back every year. And every year I trust the suggestions and advice of both Emanuele and Sara as to where to stay. They are encyclopedic in their knowledge of the city: they can arrange private tours and language lessons too. They were tireless in their commitment to make sure I have been comfortable and happy in whatever apartment i stayed - and in one more month I am headed back there again. Five stars are not nearly enough. From Home to Rome truly makes my traveling even more pleasurable - and I wouldn’t think of booking through anyone else.
